My background includes a decade of strategy + execution in marketing and communications incl. managing online platforms, scaling creative and marketing teams, and putting marketing automation, search, social, email, analytics, media relations, and PR to work in both startup and institutional/corporate environments.
Modernized the marketing stack, built a content strategy for marketing & communications department, on-boarded Salesforce, and led a team of 6 at Central New Mexico Community College working w/digital ads, platform design, analytics, email, and social media, in the process bucking national decline in higher ed enrollment.
Digital strategy for Creative Startups accelerator (92 startups, 5 global sites, $49M in capital raised) and worked with a handful of seed, series A, and series B startups leveraging content strategy, PPC, e-commerce, user growth, media relations/outreach (combined $40M+ in capital raised).
Built out year 1 & 2 of Albuquerque’s Downtown Arts & Cultural District programs, marketing, and communications, and secured operational funding.
Worked as a journalist covering energy, banking/finance, tech, and and economic development.
Early employee at Visual.ly, developed workflow between customer success, marketing, and talent acquisition, managed operations and first build of enterprise platform (acquired ~$50M).
Managed online platform development + video distribution projects at MultiVu/PRNewswire, incl. Food Network, Bacardi, all projects for APAC ($1.5M annual revenue).
